Rani Mahal

The chief place of worship in Ayodhya is the site of the ancient citadel of Ramkot, which stands on an elevated ground in the western part of the city. Although visited by pilgrims through out the year, this sacred place attracts devotees from all over India and abroad, on 'Ramnavami', the day of the lord's birth, which is celebrated with great pomp and show, in the Hindu month of Chaitra (March-April).

The State Museum has a fine collection of terracotta, bronzes, Weapons, Sculptures, Manuscripts, Painting and Coins of Gold, Silver and Copper.

Maha Lakshmi Temple
Maha Lakshmi Temple an ancient temple devoted to Devi Mahalaxmi was built in 18th Century. This glorious temple is situated outside Laxmi "Darwaza" near Laxmi Tal.

Maharaja Gangadhar Rao ki Chathri.
The Samadhi of Maharaja Gangadhar Rao is situated on the Laxmi Tal. After the death of Maharaja Gangadhar Rao in 1853 this ancient monument was built by his wife Maharani Laxmi Bai.

Ganesh Mandir
Ganesh Mandir, where the marriage ceremany of Maharani Laxmi Bai, the brave hero of 1857 Inedependence war, and Maharajai Gangadhar Rao was performed. This temple is dedicated to Lord Ganesh.

Day 01 : Delhi (Arrival)
Arrive in Delhi followed by assisted transfer to the hotel by our tour representative. By 12 Noon, check into the hotel. In the afternoon, embark on a sightseeing tour of Shahjahanabad (Old Delhi) covering Red Fort, Raj Ghat, Jama Masjid and Shanti Vana. Later, visit the old market of Chandni Chowk for shopping. Day 02 : Delhi (Sightseeing)
In the morning, venture out of the hotel to explore the attractions in New Delhi which include Qutub Minar, India Gate, Humayun's Tomb, Lakshmi Narayan Temple, Parliament House, President's House and Connaught Place. Stay overnight in the hotel.

Day 03 : Delhi - Agra
Today, you will be transferred to the railway station to board the train to Agra. Upon arrival, move to the hotel. In the morning, leave by road for Fatehpur Sikri. Explore the beautiful buildings of this ghost town such as Panch Mahal, Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chisti and other attractions. In the afternoon, enjoy a trip to Agra covering Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. Stay overnight in the hotel.

Day 04 : Agra - Gwalior
Today, in the morning, drive to the railway station to board the train to Gwalior. Upon arrival, drive to the hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy a half day city tour of Gwalior covering Gujari Mahal, Man Mandir, The Fort, Saas-Bahu temple, Jai Vilas Palace, Teli ka Mandir, Mausoleum of Tansen and Tomb of Gaus Mohammed. In the evening, enjoy a spectacular Son-et-Lumiere show in the fort. Stay overnight in the hotel.

Day 05 : Gwalior - Jhansi
In the morning, leave by road for the railway station to board the train for Jhansi. Upon arrival, drive to the hotel. In the afternoon, sightseeing tour of Orchha. Once ruled by the Bundela dynasty, the city is home to palaces and temples dating back to the 16th and 17th century. Visit Jehangir Mahal, a layered palace crowned by exquisite chhatries, and various temples & cenotaphs. Stay overnight in the hotel.

Day 06 : Jhansi - Bhopal
In the morning, board the train to Bhopal. Upon arrival, with timely assistance, get transferred to the hotel. In the afternoon, embark on a sightseeing tour of Bhopal. The attractions you will visit include Upper Lake, Lower Lake, Birla Museum, Kilol Park, Kamla Park, Laxmi Narayan Temple, Sadar Manzil, Moti Masjid and Taj-UL-Masjid. Later, visit the Tagore Memorial, Vidhan Sabha and the National Archives of India. Stay overnight in the hotel.

 

Day 07 : Bhopal

Day 08 : Bhopal - Indore

Day 09 : Indore
Today, venture out for a full day tour of Ujjain. It was a great center of learning and culture in ancient India. The places you will visit here include Mahakaleshwar Temple, Jantar Mantar, Observatory of Masonry, Gopal Mandir and Bathing Ghats of Shipra river. Stay overnight in the hotel.

Day 10 : Indore - Delhi
In the morning, you will be transferred to the airport to board flight to Delhi. Upon arrival, drive to the international airport to board flight for onward journey.
