The Aravalli Range literally meaning 'line of peaks' , is a range of mountains in western India running approximately 800 km from northeast to southwest across states of Rajasthan, Haryana, and Gujarat.The Aravalli Range runs across the state from the southwest peak Guru Shikhar (Mount Abu), which is 1,722 m in height, to Khetri in the northeast. This divides the state into 60% in the northwest of the range and 40% in the southeast. The northwest tract is sandy and unproductive with little water but improves gradually from desert land in the far west and northwest to comparatively fertile and habitable land towards the east.

(Udaipur-Sumer-Bagho ka Bagh-Thandi Beri-Kumbhalgarh-Ranakpur-Udaipur)

Day 01: Arrival in Udaipur - Sumer (about 125 kms)
Today morning arrival in Udaipur. Upon arrival you will be met by our representative and transfer to Sumer, a Forest rest house in a valley enclosed by Aravali hills. Lunch will be served at the Rest House. In the evening a walking tour of village will be organized for you. After trekking back to the rest house. Overnight stay at Sumer, an amazing place for stargazing.

Day 02: Sumer - Bagho ka Bagh - Trekking (about 6 hrs)
Today in the morning we have breakfast at the Rest House. After breakfast we start our trekking tour from Sumer through some amazing and quiet villages, ponds and lakes. You have wonderful opportunity to experience the local culture and tradition of the area while stopping over for packed lunch. In the evening we arrive at Bagho ka Bagh which is a quiet and peaceful place in the lap of nature. It is famous for a large population of native Indian Tigers till a century ago. We have overnight stay at Bagho ka Bagh.

Day 03: Bagho Ka Bagh - Thandi Beri - Trekking (about 4 hrs)
Today after having breakfast we start our trekking tour from Bagho Ka Bagh through some ethnic villages. and experience the highlight of the tour - Garasias. Garasias are one of the most colorful tribes of this region. Arrival in Thandi Beri. Dinner will be served to you at the rest house. We have overnight stay at Thandi Beri Forest rest House.

Day 04: Thandi Beri - Kumbhalgarh - Trekking (about 5 hrs)
Today in the morning after having breakfast we start our trekking tour from Thandi Beri through intense and dense forest while viewing some of the very prominent and well known species of trees and birds. After finishing trekking tour we visit Kumbhalgarh Fort of Kumbalgarh, Kumbhalgarh fort was the second most prominent fort of the Mewar kingdom after Chittorgarh. Kumbhalgarh fort is a very wonderful fort and has very beautiful Architecture. After visiting fort we proceed to tents. After a short break and after taking evening tea we drive back to Kumbalgarh fort to view sound and light show. We have overnight stay at Kumbhalgarh at tent.

Day 05: Kumbhalgarh - Ranakpur - Trekking (about 5 hrs) - Udaipur (about 92 kms)
Today in the morning after having breakfast you will be transferred to Foota Deval. Foota Deval is starting point of Trek to Ranakpur. Enroute we visit the ancient cave temple of Parsuram Mahadev. After finishing the trekking tour we visit the Ranakpur Jain Temple. Ranakpur Jain Temples provide an insight into the rich temple architecture of the ancient times. It is also an important pilgrimage sites of Jainism. The temple has a very wonderful architecture in white Marble. After visiting the temples you will be transferred to Udaipur for onwards journey.
