Designed for a wildlife enthusiast the Central India Tigers and Taj Mahal tour takes you to two of Central India s newer and lesser known Tiger Reserves of Pench and Satpura, besides showing you India's capital Delhi, the city of Taj Mahal, Agra, and the city of lakes Bhopal.

Day 01 : Arrive Delhi
You will be met on your arrival at Delhi International Airport, the starting point of your Tigers and Taj Mahal tour and transferred to Hotel The Park/The Suryaa. Overnight in Delhi.

Day-02: In Delhi
Breakfast at hotel followed by a full day sightseeing tour of Old and New Delhi visiting - The Red Fort, Friday Mosque - Jama Masjid, the silver street of Chandni Chowk, Raj Ghat, the Hindu temple -- Birla Mandir, the India Gate, the Rashtrapati Bhawan -- President's House, the tomb of Emperor Humayun, Qutab Minar and the Bahai Temple. Overnight in Delhi.

 

Day 03 : Delhi Nagpur Pench
After breakfast, transfer to airport in time to board flight for Nagpur. You will be met on your arrival at Nagpur airport and transferred to Pench by road (90 kms/02 hrs). On your arrival in Pench check in at the Pench Jungle Camp. Evening jeep safari into the Pench National Park. Overnight in Pench.

Day 04 : In Pench
Morning and evening jeep safaris into the Pench National Park. Overnight in Pench.

 

Day 05 : Pench - Satpura
Morning jeep safari into the Pench National Park. Later depart for Satpura by road (240 kms/06 hrs). Satpura is one of India's best kept secrets and is a prime wildlife habitat. Satpura National Park offers a unique range of activities and visitors can explore the true wilderness of the park without much crowd. Satpura is the only National park in Central India that offers walking safaris to all the visitors, apart from the traditional Jeep, Elephant and Boat safaris.

Leopards, Sloth Bear, Indian Wild Dogs, hordes of Indian Gaur , Sambar and several bird species, numerous species of endemic butterflies and the Giant Malabar Squirrels are seen in the park and if lucky you could also see the magnificent Tiger. Exploring Satpura National Park in so many ways makes Satpura National Park a wildlife enthusiast's paradise. On your arrival in Satpura check in at the Reni Pani Jungle Lodge. Overnight in Satpura.

 

Day 06 : In Satpura
Morning and evening jeep safaris into the Satpura National Park. There is also the option of walking safaris and boat trips in Satpura. Overnight in Satpura.

Day 07 : Satpura Bhopal
Early morning jeep safari into the Satpura National Park. Later, depart to Bhopal by road (165 kms/03 hrs). On your arrival in Bhopal check in at the Jehan Numa Palace hotel. Overnight in Bhopal.

 

Day 08 : Bhopal Agra
Breakfast at hotel followed by a sightseeing tour of Bhopal visiting the Sadar Manzil, Taj-ul-Masjid, Secretariat, Fatehgarh Fort and Moti Masjid. Later transfer to Bhopal railway station, in time to board the Shatabdi Express (1445/2030 hrs) for Agra. Met on your arrival in Agra and transfer to Hotel Jaypee Palace. Overnight in Agra.

 

Day 09 : Agra Delhi
Breakfast at the hotel followed by a sightseeing tour of Agra city visiting the Taj Mahal and the Agra Fort. Your Central India Tigers and the Taj Mahal tour ends with a return to Delhi airport (220kms/04 hrs), in time to board your flight home.
