Day 1. Arrival in Jaipur
On your arrival at Jaipur airport, meet our IHPL representative and proceed towards the main city. Famed for its heritage, culture and architecture, Jaipur is popular as the 'Pink City' of Rajasthan.

Further, you check-into the hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the place on your own. From hand decorated and embroidered textiles to the colorful markets with bright turban and cultural garments; Jaipur has a lot to keep you engaged. Overnight stay in hotel.

Day 2. Jaipur
On the second day after breakfast, leave for sightseeing in Jaipur. In the beginning, we take you to Amber Fort; which is a wonderful blend of Hindu and Muslim architecture, located at a hill-top offering a brilliant view of the city. You can also experience the elephant ride (on your own).

Further, you then head to other popular attractions of Jaipur including Hawa Mahal (the Palace of Wind), Jantar Mantar (UNESCO World Heritage Site, one of the great places for scientific observations), City Palace (visit the pre-historic buildings, palaces, shrines and museums) and the Ram Nivas Garden (houses a bird- sanctuary and a Zoo). Get back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3. Jaipur- Chittorgarh (6 hours drive)
After morning breakfast, drive to Chittorgarh. On arrival, check into hotel. Further, proceed to Chittorgarh. The most popular tourist attraction in Chittorgarh is the Chittorgarh Fort with various palaces (Padmini palace and the Rana Kumbha palace), numerous gates (Hanuman Pol, Ganesh Pol and the Laxman Pol), towers (Vijay Stambh and the Kirti Stambh) and shrines inside.

The wonderful Victory tower (the Vijay Stambh), a nine storied building constructed in Rajput style. Further, visit the picturesque Padmini palace. The palace is a beautiful white building, surrounded by water moat. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 4. Chittorgarh- Udaipur (3 hours drive)
On fourth day of the tour, take your breakfast and proceed towards the city Udaipur. Upon reaching Udaipur, check-in at a hotel. Blessed with divine beauty of pristine lakes, Udaipur is regarded as one of the beautiful cities in Rajasthan. Proceed for a half-day sightseeing tour to Udaipur.

 

Visit the Saheliyon-Ki-Bari (a sprawling garden adorned with fountains, pools and elephant statues made of marble), Gulabh Bagh (adore the variety of roses, visit the museum and the Zoo inside the Bagh) and indulge in boat ride at Lake Pichola (on your own). Return back to the hotel room for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5. Udaipur- Mt. Abu (4 hours drive)
On the fifth day, take your breakfast and again get ready for the half-day tour of Udaipur City. Today, we take you to City Palace Museum (a 400 year old complex that houses beautiful palaces, where you can see some artifacts of Medieval and European era), the Crystal Gallery (storehouse to various crystal made objects), the Vintage and classic car collections. Later, you head to Mt. Abu. Check into the hotel and stay overnight.

Day 6. Mt. Abu
On sixth day, take your breakfast and leave for sightseeing in Mt. Abu. Mt. Abu is an enchanting hill station, which is also identified as 'an oasis in the desert'. The place is famous for its temples, wildlife sanctuary and lakes.

Visit the most popular Dilwara Jain temple (carved with intricate marble stone crafts), Brahmakumari Spiritual, pristine Nakki Lake, relish the wonderful view of sunset at Sunset View point and familiarize yourself with the culture and the tradition of Mt. Abu at Honeymoon view point. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 7. Mt. Abu- Abu train station/ Udaipur airport
On the last day of the tour, we return back to Abu road station/Udaipur airport. Further, board train/flight for your onward journey.

Chittorgarh Sightseeing

As you travel to Chittorgarh you will come across various historical landmarks and destinations in the city. Amongst the numerous tourist attractions of Chittorgarh, the most famous ones are:

Chittorgarh Fort
Chittorgarh fort is a huge and colossal structure. The entrance to the fort is provided through seven gates and lead up to the main gate, Ram Pol (gate of Ram). The main gate of the fort itself is Suraj Pol (Sun gate). As per the legend, Bhim, a Pandava, started the construction of the fort. There are a number of magnificent monuments inside the fort itself.

 

Vijay Stambh
Vijay Stambh means the tower of victory. Maharana Kumbha built the Vijay Stambh in 1440 AD to celebrate his victory over Mohamed Khilji. It is 9 stories high and is decorated with the sculptures of Hindu deities. It provides an entrancing sight in the evening, when it is illuminated with bright lights.

Kirti Stambh
Kirti Stambh means the tower of fame. Built by a wealthy Jain merchant in 12th century, it is dedicated to Adinathji, the first Jain teerthankar. Naked figures of the Digambars adorn the tower. It is 22 m and 7 stories high.

Rana Kumbha Palace
Chittorgarh, Rajasthan sightseeing tour must include Rana Kumbha Palace, the most imposing monument in the Chittorgarh fort. Rich heritage and architecture define this palace. It is believed that the palace has underground basements where Rani Padmini and other women performed Jauhar.

Kumbha Shyam Temple:
The Kumbha Shyam temple is built in an Indo-Aryan style. The temple is linked to Meerabai, a passionate and ardent devotee of Lord Krishna.

Ratan Singh Palace
Ratan Singh Palace was built as a winter resort for the kings. Looking over a small lake, it presents a picturesque sight.

Padmini Palace in RajasthanPadmini Palace
The famous places to see in Chittorgarh also include Padmini Palace, built adjacent to a lotus pool. It has a legend attached to it. Ala-ud-din saw the reflection of Queen Padmini in this pool. He was so captivated and entranced by her that he fought a furious battle with Maharana Ratan Singh (husband of Maharani Padmini). This battle changed the history of Chittorgarh.
