DAY BY DAY

Day 01 - Arrive in Delhi (stay at The Oberoi, Delhi)
Upon your arrival in Delhi, you will be met by your personal tour escort at the airport and transfer to the Rajasthan Travels New Delhi. The rest of the day is then at your leisure, torelax and recuperate from your international journey. Alternatively, depending on your arrival time, you may wish to begin exploring the bustling capital today; you can
let us know at anytime by giving us a call on your complimentary mobile phone.

Day 02 - In Delhi
After a lavish breakfast, your personal tour guide will meet you at the Oberoi for a guided tour of both Old and New Delhi. Sights to see include the Jama Masjid,Qutab Minar,India Gate, Parliament House and Gandhi's house. The itinerary we've prepared in advance is a guideline, but is completely flexible to yourpreferences on the day. You may let your guide know your interests and he will tailor the day's sightseeing to you. We're known for our flexible approach, allowing you complete control over the pace of your trip. After exploring the bustling capital,you'll return to the Oberoi New Delhi in the evening.

Day 03 - Delhi to Agra (stay at The Oberoi Amarvilas, Agra)
After breakfast, your chauffeur will drive you to Agra - home of the exquisite Taj Mahal. Upon arriving in Agra, the rest of the day is at your leisure to enjoy your hotel and soak up the delights of the Oberoi Amarvilas. Your Premier Room allows you to gaze at this magnificent monument from your very own bay window; an impossibly romantic experience. Without the restriction of visiting hours, you can catch the Taj Mahal peachy pink at dawn, glowing amber at sunset and glittering in the moonlight after dark.

 

Day 04 - In Agra
This morning, you'll head to the Taj Mahal with your guide. Return to the Oberoi Amarvilas for breakfast and a quick freshen up, before heading out again to explore Agra Fort and Itmad-ud-Daulah. You may also like to visit Sikandra, or relax and enjoy your lavish surroundings at the Oberoi Amarvilas. Optionally, in the late afternoon head back to the Taj Mahal to observe the amazing monument at sunset (or you can always catch this beautiful monument from your very own window).

Day 05 - Agra to Ranthambhore (stay at The Oberoi Vanyavilas, Ranthambhore)
This morning, you'll drive to Bharatpur to catch the train to Ranthambhore. Visit the abandoned city of Fatehpur Sikri en-route to Bharatpur. Upon arriving in Ranthambhore in the early evening, your representative will meet you at the platform where you'll transfer to the Oberoi Vanyavilas for a two night stay in a luxury tent. The opulence of the Oberoi Vanyavilas is the perfect contrast to the ruggedness of Ranthambhore National Park. Each Luxury Tent is draped in fine fabric, dotted with traditional Rajasthani block-printed motifs. The beautiful free standing claw-foot bathtub is a glamorous touch.

Day 06 - In Ranthambhore
Enjoy a day of safari, on the trail of tiger, in Ranthambhore National Park.Ranthambhore is well known as one of the best spots in the world to view the majestic Bengal Tiger in it's naturabl habitat. Your safaris will be in a private jeep,with only you and your experienced naturalist guide.

Day 07 - Ranthambhore to Jaipur (stay at The Oberoi Rajvilas, Jaipur)
After breakfast, your chauffeur will drive you to Jaipur. Upon arriving in Jaipur, head to the opulent Oberoi Rajvilas to relax and enjoy Jaipur's most luxurious hotel.There's not many hotels in the world where check-in involves a brightly painted elephant and a fragrant shower of rose petals, but then again the Oberoi Rajvilas does not settle for anything less than spectacular! The resort is almost a destination in itself, with sprawling gardens and a 250-year-old Hindu temple in the grounds. The signature Oberoi service is attentive, yet unobtrusive. Day 08 - In Jaipur
A full day of guided sightseeing in the Pink City. An elephant ride in Jaipur through the ancient Amber Fort and a tour of the City Palace will show you the best of Jaipur. You will also visit the Jantar Mantar observatory, along with Hawa Mahal (Wind Palace) and Jal Mahal (Water Palace). This evening, there is the option to learn the secrets of Indian cuisine on a private cooking class with Divya Singh - a unique experience. Alternatively, spend the evening at your leisure in the Oberoi Rajvilas.

Day 09 - Jaipur to Udaipur (stay at The Oberoi Udaivilas, Udaipur)
After a lavish breakfast at the Oberoi Rajvilas, depart to Udaipur. Upon arriving in Udaipur, the rest of the evening is free to enjoy Rajasthan's most romantic city.Udaipur is abundant with lakes and ancient water palaces. Resting on the banks of Lake Pichola, the Oberoi Udaivilas is unashamedly opulent and is somethingstraight out of a fairytale. The Oberoi Udaivilas is our personal favourite of the Oberoi hotels. It's completely grand and really the definition of luxury. In 2012, the Oberoi Udaivilas hotel was ranked as the 'Best Resort in the World' by readers of Travel + Leisure magazine in the US.

Day 10 - In Udaipur
If you can tear yourself away from the exquisite Oberoi Udaivilas, you'll explore the city with a full day of guided sightseeing in Udaipur. After visiting the City Palace, take a boat ride on the shimmering waters of Lake Pichola to explore Jag Mandir island. You may also consider spending an additional night in Udaipur, to head out and explore nearby Chittaurgarh Fort or the ancient Eklingji temple. Alternatively,spend your extra day relaxing and recharging your batteries at one of the worlds very finest hotels - the Oberoi Udaivilas.

 

Day 11 - Fly back to Delhi (stay at The Oberoi Gurgaon, Delhi)
Make your way back to Delhi for an overnight stay at the Oberoi Gurgaon. Upon arriving in Delhi, there will be time to settle in to the hotel before your guide accompanies you for a last dinner in India. You may like to take a morning flight and gain an extra day in Delhi, to further explore the capital or to pick up some last
minute souvenirs.

Day 12 - Depart from Delhi
Your driver will escort you back to Delhi IGI airport, in time for your departing flight. If your flight is leaving early this morning, it would be our pleasure to arrange a packed breakfast from the Oberoi, which you can then enjoy on the way to the airport. Alternatively, if you're departing later in the evening, your guide would be delighted to escort you for further sightseeing in the capital.
